When it comes to summer time, no garden would be complete without at least one hearty tomato plant.
In today’s episode of Do This, Not That: Puttin’ up Tomatoes, you will see how I ‘put up’ tomatoes for later use.
Not your typical etiquette and style how-to video from me, but an invitation from your Favorite Etiquette Lady and Personal Stylist to learn lifestyle insights that can take you to a new level of living and appreciation for doing some things on your own.
Scored, blanched, peeled and seeded Roma tomatoes from Tiffany’s garden.
The skins, cores and seeds are combined with the blanching water and added to our compost pile.
Some seeds made it into the freezer bag of finished tomatoes. Not a big deal.
If you have extra tips to add to the process of putting up tomatoes, please post your suggestions in the comment section below! And, if you just gave me a That’a Girl, I hope you share this snippet on your social media pages, with your garden buddies or around your office.
Thank you and please stay tuned for more Do This, Not That episodes. Until next time, stay classy!
